Please welcome our new Intern, Grecia Cedillo! She joins us through an internship program with Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services (AYE) of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, which provides youth with job training, educational and career services. She will be helping with distributing and organizing our donations, as well as providing support for our various programs.

A Los Angeles native, she comes from a family of five and is the oldest of three siblings. She is a recent graduate of Animo South LA Charter High, and will be starting at UC San Diego in the fall.

Grecia is excited to be working at SFC because she is passionate about helping those less fortunate. “Helping those in need is what I have always loved to do. The great amount of personal satisfaction is unexplainable.”

During her time here, she has appreciated SFC’s mission to spread hope amongst those who need it the most. In the future, Grecia hopes that the services of SFC will expand beyond Los Angeles, because she believes the center has the potential to help so many more individuals.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking with her sister and mom, going out with her family and friends, and reading.

Help us welcome Grecia to the SFC team!
